The education ministry has brought a change in timetable of the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations due to the 72-hour hartal imposed countrywide by 20-Party Alliance.

The first exam, earlier scheduled to be held on 2 February, has been deferred to 6 February. However, the exams for 4 February will be held on the scheduled date. 

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement in a press briefing at the Secretariat in Dhaka on Sunday.
