Dhaka: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday set 20 August to hold hearing on an appeal challenging a verdict of the High Court that rejected the plea filed by the guardians of pupils seeking second chance in the admission test at Dhaka University (DU).

A three-member Appellate Division bench led by Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana set the date on Monday.

The High Court on 8 July rejected the writ petition filed by the DU admission seekers for second chance in sitting in the admission test.

After that, an appeal was filed against the order.
