Dhaka: A mobile court on Friday awarded punishment to four students and admission seekers of Jagannath University (JnU) for their involvement with forgery in admission test of ‘Gha-unit’.

JnU students Rashidul Islam was jailed for one year and Rakibul Islam for two years. Besides, the mobile court led by Assistant Magistrate Mamtaz Begum awarded one month imprisonment to admission seekers Mukam Uddin Kazi and Jubayet Mia each.

Rashidul Islam is a student of Political Science Department while Rakibul Islam of Sociology Department of 2009-10 academic year of the university.
