Edn minister hands over HSC result to PM
Dhaka: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations’ results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office at about 10:30am on Thursday.

This year the success rate of HSC examinations is 74.7 per cent while 58,276 students achieved the grade point average (GPA)-5.
The Education Minister will announce the results at a press conference in the conference room of the Education Ministry at about 1:00pm, an official release said on Wednesday.
Shortly after the minister’s press conference, the results will be available on the education boards’ website www.educationboard.gov.bd.
Examinees will also get their results from respective examination centres or educational institutions, websites of respective centres, and through internet and mobile phones.
A total of 12,18,628 examinees from 8,533 educational institutions appeared in the HSC and equivalent examinations. Of the total examinees, 6,54,114 are male and 5,64,514 female.
A student has to type HSCfirst three letters of education board’s nameroll No.2016 and SMS to 16222 to get the result in a reply SMS.
