Dhaka: The online admission process for the first year honours entrance tests of Dhaka University’s (DU’s) 2016-17 academic sessions started on Monday.

Vice chancellor of the university AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the process in a program arranged by the central admission office of DU in the morning, reports UNB.

The admission process will be continued till 12:00midnight on 7 September, 2016, said a press release.

Hasibur Rahman, convener of online admission committee, deans from different faculties, directors of institutes, provosts of residential halls, acting registrar and officials concerned were present at the programme.

The DU vice chancellor said the number of seats has been increased in this session.

The total number of seats for this session is 6,800 (K-1680, Kha-2241, Ga-1170 and Gha-1880, Cha-135) which it was 6,655 for the last session.

The total bank service charge and online service fees has been fixed to TK 350.
