Popular magazine show ‘Ityadi’ has taken a unique endeavor to visit the historically and naturally significant places of Bangladesh. To keep up with this trend, the Ityadi team recently went to the Nilphari district and shoot an entire episode much to the delight of the audiences there. On 18 September, the shooting of this latest episode of Ityadi took place inside the Uttara EPZ (Export Processing Zone). Thousands of people of the EPZ and the neighboring areas gathered to witnesses the taping of the show. The show starts with an informative documentary on the Nilphamari district and the ancient history of the indigo cultivation there. On the month of March, Ityadi broadcast a documentary on the Bangladeshi origin and Netherlands citizen Anwara Begum. Anwara lost track with her family and appealed to the viewers of Ityadi to help her find her roots. Ityadi indeed helped her got reunited with her lost family. There is a follow-up story on Anwara and how she finds her family. The show also has a documentary on the Nilphamari EPZ. This episode of Ityadi also zooms on the Bhawaiya Bengali folk song pioneer Abbasuddin Ahmed and his family. There is an informative documentary on this singer. The foreign segment takes the viewers to the picturesque Johannesburg of South Africa. The South African political legend Nelson Mandela and places which are significant with his name are shown in this segment.

Whenever Ityadi goes to a new place, it tries to invite famous personalities of that area. There is no difference to this in this episode as well. Nilphamari born music composer Ibrar Tipu presents the viewers with a 150-year-old ‘Chatka’ song in his musical arrangement where singers: T.W Sainik, Faruk Bhuiyan, Taj, Sahin and many others shared vocals with him.  Ityadi also contains a song where workers of the EPZ danced and performed. This song is choreographed by Rabbi Al Kaisar Raju, written by Mohammad Rofiquzzaman and composed by Mehdi. The group song is sung by Faruk Bhuiyan, Abu Bakar Saddiqui, Riyad and many others.

The regular invited guest segment has a surprise guest in this episode for the viewers. Minister of the Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor, who also happens to be a proud son of Nilphamari graced the segment and distributed prizes among the winners. Hanif Sanket also conducts an impromptu interview with this cultural icon that entertained the audiences a lot. The regular comedy skits and other contemporary segments promise to provide enough food for thoughts to the viewers.
