Dhaka: Eleven meritorious students of the Department of Public Administration of Dhaka University (DU) were awarded ‘CERAGEM Merit Scholarship Award’ for their outstanding academic performances in graduation.

Prof Dr Farid Uddin Ahmed, Dean of Social Science Faculty of DU, distributed scholarship among the students at a function at Public Administration Department.

Kwon Kyo Soon, Managing Director of the Bangladesh chapter of CERAGEM, a leading medical products manufacturer of South Korea, and Public Administration Department Chairman Prof Dr Akhter Hussain were, among others, present during the scholarship giving ceremony.

Later, DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique congratulated the award winners when they met him at the VC’s lounge after the programme.
