Dhaka: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Dhaka University (DU) and Central Queensland University, Australia on Sunday.

DU Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Vice-Chancellor of Central Queensland University Prof Scott Bowman inked the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and its Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam were present on the occasion.

According to the MoU, the two universities will work together for professional development. They will also exchange information, faculty members and students and undertake joint collaborative academic and research projects and arrange study tours.
